Step Inside A Whole Planting Block
This is a walk-in garden enclosure built to cover a wide planting block rather than one narrow row. The interior measures 114.17 by 76.38 by 76.38 in, or 2900 by 1940 by 1940 mm.
That is over six feet of headroom across a six-foot-wide span, so you step in through the doorway and work upright with both hands free instead of reaching over a low hoop.
The footprint takes in several beds at once, or a group of large containers on a patio or lawn. Vegetables, soft fruit, flowers and climbing crops can share the space under one roof.

Braced To Carry The Span
Powder-coated steel tubing carries the load, treated to hold off rust and corrosion through repeated wet seasons.
Reinforced plastic joints lock the sections together and cross support rods brace the span so the roof does not sag over the wide middle of the structure.
Tear-resistant polyester netting with 0.16 in, or 4 mm, apertures wraps the whole frame. The openings are small enough to keep the barrier closed while air, sunlight and rainfall still pass through to the crops.

Slot, Drape, Stake, Tension
Setup runs in order: slot the tubing into the joints, draw the netting over the top, drive a stake at each corner, then tension the guy ropes. U-shaped ground stakes and guy ropes tie the structure down in gusty weather.
The zippered entry opens the full panel, with reinforced edging along the seam. Unzip it, roll the curtain up out of the way to harvest or prune, then close it again behind you.
The color is black and green. At season end, clean the soil off, dry the parts fully and store them under cover.
