The trellis panel above the soil measures 31.5 in wide by 43.3 in high, ample room for peas, beans or a flowering vine.
Below it the planting area holds flowers, vegetables and herbs, and the frame lifts the soil to a height that saves you from kneeling.
Six Wheels, Four With Brakes
Six casters sit underneath the box and four of them are fitted with brakes, so a fully loaded bed rolls into the sun in the morning and back into shade later without dragging.
That matters on a hard surface, where a fixed bed has to live wherever the light happened to fall on the day you filled it.
The body is molded from polypropylene in a gray wicker-style weave, a look that reads as woven cane while resisting the fading, warping and cracking that weather brings.
Twenty Two Gallons, No Tools Needed
Overall the unit is 31.5 in wide by 15.7 in deep by 56.3 in high, and the growing area measures 30.7 in wide by 15 in deep by 11.8 in tall, giving about 22.5 gal of soil volume. Loading capacity is 88 lb across the unit, or 44 lb in each half.
A reservoir built into the base stores water and feeds it up to the roots between waterings, while drainage holes let the surplus escape after heavy rain rather than sitting around the root ball.
Assembly calls for no tools and takes only a few minutes, and the panels come apart again for winter storage. Rinse the exterior with a hose when it gets dusty.
