The cover is polyethylene stretched over a frame, holding warmth around young plants and shielding them from wind, heavy rain and harsh sun.
The steel bed panels are galvanized to resist warping and rust through wet weather, and cross rods span the long sides for rigidity while splitting the space into planting sections.
A roll-up window opens along one side to reach in, water or vent on mild days, and the skirt extends 3.9 in past the base so it can be buried to seal the edge against gusts.
