A Sphere That Floats And Turns

This desk piece floats a 150 mm sphere above a wooden stand, holding a gap of about 20 mm while the ball turns slowly in place.

The ball comes in a moon surface or a star field pattern, and the base is offered in a light wood grain or in black.

It suits a desk, a nightstand, a bookshelf, or a studio corner where a slow moving light gives the room a quiet focal point.

Bluetooth Audio And Color Light

The stand houses a Bluetooth speaker, so the same object plays audio from a phone or a tablet while the sphere rotates.

Color lighting runs through the ring of the frame, and a handheld remote switches the light and the sound without reaching for the base.

The shell is molded from ABS with a textured surface that scatters the glow rather than throwing a hard beam.

Small Footprint, Simple Setup

The frame measures 240 by 230 mm, so it takes up about the footprint of a small clock.

Set the stand on a level surface, connect the cord, then lower the sphere until the field catches and lifts it. Power cords are available in US, European, British, and Australian styles.

In the box you get the wooden base, the floating ball, the remote, and the cord. Wipe both parts with a dry cloth.
