A Low Marker With Some Character
This solar garden light pairs a molded parrot figure with a small LED lamp, giving a planted bed, lawn edge or walkway a decorative accent by day and a soft glow after dark.
The stake suits gardens, patios, driveways, fence lines and backyard borders, anywhere a low marker is useful.
Two figure colours are offered, a blue parrot and a red parrot, so a row of stakes can be mixed or matched along a path.
Molded Resin, Warm White LED
The body is molded plastic and resin with painted detail, and the lamp emits a warm white light from a single LED bead.
A 2V, 40mA amorphous silicon panel on top charges a 1.2V 600mAh AAA NI-MH cell during daylight, and a built-in sensor switches the lamp on at dusk and off again at first light with no timer or switch to set.
The housing carries an IP65 rating, so rain, snow, frost and sleet are all within its stated range.
Assembly Takes A Moment
Set the figure on the plastic pole, fit the stake to the bottom of the pole and press the assembly into soft ground. No wiring or mains supply is involved.
Charging runs 8 to 10 hours and yields a similar 8 to 10 hours of light, depending on season, weather and how much direct sun the panel receives. Choose an open spot away from streetlights.
Assembled height is 26.3 cm (10.36 in) and the figure measures 7 x 19 x 7.5 cm (2.76 x 7.48 x 2.96 in), so it reads as an accent at planting height rather than a tall fixture.
